TIC - Technology & Inovation Centre
IWCMM28 conference will be held in the TIC building. The Technology and Innovation Centre is our dedicated national and international centre for research, commercialisation and business research and development. TIC provides state-of-the-art research facilities and a flexible working environment which will bring together up to 750 academics, researchers, postgraduate students and project managers.
CONFERENCE AND EVENTS FACILITIES
The buiding’s state-of-the-art conference and events facilities can accommodate up to 650 delegates.
- Level 1 – auditorium and foyer (capacity 150)
- Level 2 – ground floor of main auditorium* and exhibition/break-out space
- Level 3 – upper raised seating area of main auditorium and adjacent break-out space
- Level 3 – conference rooms 1 to 8
BUILDING OPENING HOURS
Core hours Reception will be staffed from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
Out-of-hours access and lone working Access outside the core opening hours is controlled by the authorised out-of-hours access system which is currently in place across the University. Conference and Events Delegates must inform Security Control (ext 3333) if they intend to access the building beyond 6pm.
ACCESS ARRANGEMENTS
Conference and Events Delegates are asked to report to the conference reception desk or follow the appropriate signage for registration. Delegates have restricted access to conference and meeting facilities on level 1, 2 and 3.
