The present research project offers novel smart water and energy management system integrated with floating solar chimney module for freshwater and power generation.

  • The proposed concept has mobility feature and can help the move towards low carbon sustainable economies.

  • The project is a piece of research and collaboration between the University of Strathclyde (UoS) and Egyptian Desert Research Centre (EDRC).

  • UoS shared the know-how experience about designing of floating platform and solar chimney renewable energy system with project stakeholders.

  • EDRC shared their experiences in designing of novel water management system which can be integrated with the floating power system and engagement with stakeholders.
